New Face Milling Series - 36° Entry Angle with 10 Cutting Edges

YG-1 has developed an innovative face milling “YG FM10 Mill PNMU” indexable insert series combining remarkable versatility and high productivity, enabling roughing to semi-finishing just with the same cutter.

The PNMU series offers outstanding value with 10 true cutting edges in which wipers and cutting edges are separated. Therefore, it can maximize the cutting efficiency without wiper inserts attached to the chip pocket. However, commonly, it can be found in other and older technology that wiper edge is indexed to the cutting edge, which reduces the adequate number of indexes.

Furthermore, the 36° entry angle redirects most of the forces along the most substantial axis in a vertical machining center into the table and spindle, making it possible to reduce a radial load.

As a result, it increases machining stability as well as maximizing productivity and part quality.
